- My housemate is going to military drill this weekend, so that's good news for me. WOOT WOOT!
- I made plans for tonight to do something in DC this weekend. Always hoping for the best.
- I got paid in cash for some bracelets that I made for someone in my office.
- An Etsy buyer of mine left me some great feedback, " Exactly what I wanted! Seller even let me tweak design a bit. Very fast delivery." It doesn't get much better than that one!
- You just gotta love $20 Off coupons when you ONLY have to spend $20 to redeem it! I'm hoping for new pants.

In a Flash!
I'm going to make this post SUPER FAST - I'm really tired and it's just been one of those days where finding the things I loved about the day is challenging. I know I can find the things.. I just don't feel like being very verbose.

Yesterday. Busy, But Fun.
I was supposed to start my 30 days of Crafting yesterday and time just got away from me. I also wasn't able to rattle off a blog entry yesterday. It's all good though. There are worst things that could happen. I'll make up for lost time tomorrow because I will do three projects! If you want to follow the adventure - check me out here: http://mantasticcrafts.blogspot.com/
- Planning for my crafting adventures I rolled into Michael's and found some items on clearance. I will have to say, one of my concerns about this challenge on making a craft item each day was the money aspect. Well, I'm happy to report that I picked up about 5 days worth of projects for less that $20! I love a good deal.
- Dinner at Sweet Water Tavern. YUM! Good food!
- When I got home tonight, I saw that the kitchen has continuously remained clean. No dishes in the sink or filth on the counter top. I love that someone decided to keep things tidy (that someone being my housemate).
- A student said to me, "You've been working out a lot, huh?" and I replied, "Yeah I have." She then said, "Oh yeah, I can tell. Good job!" That was two comments within less than 24 hours about this. I guess the running is doing what I had hoped it would do. VIVA LA EXERCISE!
- I can sense the slowing down of the school year as we approach the holidays. I am so very excited to chill the heck out for a while. Should I take an extra week off work? I have a ton of vacation days. Hmmm... I love having these kind of options.

You Should Be So Lucky
- I love that today's event went really well. It was cold but it went well.
- A student paid me a compliment and said, "Wow, Dennis, you're looking really good." She then paused and asked, "Is that inappropriate?" That made me laugh. hahahaha
- There was a caramel popcorn maker at the event tonight and I have to say, that was some DELICIOUS popcorn! I went back three times!
- I have thoroughly loved and enjoyed Oprah's Lifeclass. While I'm sad that the season is over I'm happy to have shared in the experience.
- Today is believed to be a lucky day because it's 11/11/11. I don't know if I buy into that because I can find at least one thing that was lucky for me each day. I love that I have been able to list at least 5 things each day that I loved about the day and that's lucky within itself. It's all about perspective.

Super Joy Fantastic!
American Horror Story continues to get SO GOOD! I am wondering how they will keep this up!- I love the sign I posted in this blog!
- I'm gettin' pretty good at this supervising thing. At least I seem to think so.
- Watching Oprah's Lifeclass tonight about "Joy Rising" made me think of a song that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. Check it out here!
- I got a compliment on my outfit today from two students. That made me smile.

Rainbows
- A graduate student brought in a cake, that when it’s cut, looks like a rainbow exploded inside. I loved it and I will try my hand at making one some day.
- DADT ended today. That’s good news for the over 13,000 service members who were discharged from the military since it was put into place. This is even better news for all of those who choose to serve our country openly.
- Meeting with the Hype Squad for campus today was a highlight. I love their enthusiasm!
- I loved hearing the appreciation a student had for a staff member. I know it meant a lot for her to hear and it meant a lot for all of us sitting at the table to hear.
- It awesome that I get compliments on a shirt that I probably wear every week. Sometimes from the same person. I guess it really IS a nice looking shirt! LOL

Smile. Your Face Loves When You Do.
- It’s been one of those days when you hear a voice sing and you just can’t get enough of hearing it. Thank you Shirley Bassey, I love your voice! (hear and see her performances here - just as I watched them today).
- Tonight at work, I noticed that we have nearly 6000 students who have signed up on our Student Organization system. WOW!! For the longest time I thought it was only about 1000. What a great surprise and I LOVE surprises!
- You can have a really trying day with people and there is always at least one person that can make you laugh and forget about it. I love that about my friends. They have a knack for doing that even when they don’t know that they’re doing it.
- Apparently my outfit today was looking good. I got several compliments on it. Gotta love compliments. It’s like a pay-it-forward esteem boost.
- I love when I can make a person smile. I love it even more when people and things can make me smile just like seeing The Clark Sisters on the show, Unsung.
